Brenda is a dyslexia expert with a passion for literacy and reading education. Holding degrees in Psychology, Organizational Development, and Special Education, and qualifications as a Reading and Writing Specialist and a Specialist in the Assessment of Intellectual Functioning, Brenda has a multifaceted approach to learning. Over the years, she has trained hundreds of practitioners in structured literacy using the Orton Gillingham method across all levels including Therapist. As the President of the International Dyslexia Association-Northern New England Alliance (IDA-NNEA), she created the popular READ for Parents webinar series to empower parents with dyslexia-related knowledge. Brenda provides comprehensive assessments for learners, and works hand-in-hand consulting with families and schools to navigate language-based disabilities successfully.
